Sawdust briquettes / pellets
The sawdust briquettes (pellets) are ecologically clean solid fuel. The briquettes (pellets) are produced from sawdust, shawings and other wood scrap, that was dried before passing through a hammer mill.
The high pressure of the press causes the temperature of the wood to increase greatly, and the lignin plastifies slightly forming a natural binding agent that holds the briquettes (pellets) together as it cools.
Technical characteristics of the briquettes:
Moisture content | 6% - 8% |
Ash content | 0,3% - 0,5% |
Sulphur content | 0,0% |
Calorific value | 4500 - 4800 Kcal/kg |
Technical characteristics of the pellets (6 - 10 mm):
Moisture content | 6% - 8% |
Ash content | 0,3% - 0,5% |
Sulphur content | 0,06% - 0,09% |
Calorific value | 4300 - 4900 Kcal/kg |
